The solution found allowed to create a robot design for lifting the patient without changing the posture and without the direct involvement of human personnel. The peculiarity of the new solution is the use of the penetrator platform. Such a platform has the ability to self-retract between the patient's body and the substrate on which the patient lies (bed, stretcher or floor), and separate it from it. Having taken the weight of the patient's body onto the platform, the robot transports the patient to the designated place and, without changing the posture, also places it in a new place.
A schematic representation of the design of the robot with a penetrator platform table with running surfaces in the form of closed tape-cloths of inelastic flexible thin material.
The diagram shows a side view of the robot, a rear view and a perspective view of an axonometric view. One can see a self-propelled supporting structure with telescopic struts and an actuator for tilting the platform table. Penetrator platform table is divided into stand-alone panels with canvases running along them, driven from geared motors located in a long case on the back side of the platform table. In the side view (figure on the right) the penetrator platform table is shown in section. In the rear view, the half of the body with the drives of the running webs is shown in section
A schematic representation of the design of a robot capable of lifting patients not only from a bed, but also from a stretcher and from the floor. The figure shows a side view of the robot in a position with a raised platform table, a front view of the robot, a top view and an axonometric view. The penetrator part of the platform table on this robot is made of high strength material in the form of a thin panel. The drive located on the back side of the platform table communicates high-frequency oscillations of a special form to the panel. Bearing self-propelled (or non-self-propelled) design is equipped with racks with reduced hinges, allowing, if necessary, lowering the platform table down to the floor level and lifting the patient.
